Castle Tyrol
Castle Tyrol is the most historically significant castle in South Tyrol. Its construction began in the 12th century and was for many years the family seat of the Counts of Tyrol.
Nowadays, the South Tyrolean Museum of Culture and Provincial History is situated inside and on the outskirts you can also find the centre for birds of prey with their action filled show, where you can see most of the notorious local raptors in action.
